hi guys, is there a guid for flashing a digivox-t? what do i nee to set it up? i have a null moden cable and a crossover cable , is there anything else i need? many thanks
first off you really need a computer with windows xp and not vista as windows vista tends not to work well if at all for flashing a box. if you have windows xp then the next step is cables(you say you have a null modem cable thats good)if your computer has a 9 pin null modem socket on it all you will need is the null modem cable. however if it only has usb sockets you will also need an adaptor, a usb seriel to null modem adaptor(connect the two cables together and connect the null modem end to the box and the usb end to the computer) you may get a disc with the adaptor its called a driver,if so install it on your computer,if not you will need to go online and download a suitable driver. the next thing is firmware annd loaders, download downloader 10 .exe (this is the loader that sends the firmware in to your box) the next thing is the firmware, download digivox-ter-ver3310.bin (this is the firmware it unlocks the channels)you can get both by clicking on the link in my signature and picking digivox(if you see a newer version firware go for that). ok with the switch the box off via the switch on the back connect up the cables and run downloader 10.exe and select download,then choose the firmware to download ,now switch on the box,click download. a progress bar will appear,when download is complete disconnect all cables,do an autoscan,when this complete switch on emu and go to your channels.to find emu press menu,select system info,type in 1004 and switch emu on.make sure antenna power is set to on. all being well you should now be watching tv.
