Every time i try and install something that needs directx my computer tells me that i dont have directx, i have installed the latest version of directx but it still gives me the message, is there anything extra i need to do before it works, or is there anything particular I need to do during the instillation that i may not have done, thanks.
That's wierd.I've never had a problem.What stranger is that win xp comes preloaded with it. Ok you want a good test.Click run and type in dxdiag.exe and press enter.If it comes up you can check the various portions of directx from there it's like the main control panel for directx.If it doesn't come up something's wrong.
