I just bought a Radeon HD 3650. I need to disable my integrated ATI Radeon Xpress 200 so I can install my new video card. I heard that this can be done in Windows, not just in the BIOS. One fellow told me that you go to 'Control Panel' then 'Systems' then 'Device Manager' then you would navigate to 'Display Adapters' which would list your video card. In my case, it shows 'ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series' then you would right click it and click disable...is that an alternative? Btw, I'm using Windows XP Home Edition SP2.

I can't seem to access my BIOS, as it requires a password in which I don't think I have ever set or knew. My BIOS is a Phoenix-Award BIOS CMOS Setup Utility. I tried all known backdoor passwords, which none of them work. Any suggestions anyone? My motherboard is a HP 5188-4361 Agena GL8E.

Divine, clear the cmos or remove the battery for a few minutes once the external power cord is removed as that will put everything back to factory defaults & no password.
