Ok, ive installed several different softmods and they all install sucessfully but when I try to play a backup it says disk unknown and will not play but it will still play the original disk. I got this box as a refurb. Any help here would be greatly appriciated. THX
what program are you burning with??what type of dvd-r are you using and what speed??? try using good dvd-r verbatim would be easy to get in the stores and burn at 4x speed alright.....
Ive been using DVD+R Ive used memorex, office depot, maxwell dvds but all do this. Im gonna try it with DVD-R and see if that will resolve it. I have another bx and the DVD+R work fine. I usually burn them at 8 times with no prob. I thought the problem was the REFURB box
well the xbox drives are picky and some will play some and some wont play but dvd-r is a better type of media to use try not to use dvd+r.....
