i cant seem to back up my daughters disney discs. i cant get past the copy protection especially on the newer ones. i have nero 6 which wont do it and slysofts anydvd but it still wont work. any help would be gratefull as im a bit of a newbie at this thanks.
You should try DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink. See the guides at Afterdawn and mine at www.afonic.tk Also a tip is to playback the DVD some secs with your software DVD Player (ex PowerDVD) and then try to copy it. Note here that Nero cannot copy protected discs.
I've backed up loads of my sisters Disney DVD's with no probs using AnyDVD and CloneDVD. Shrink and Decrypter also work but take longer to achieve the same effect as Clone! Common probs if AnyDVD isn't working correctly are that you haven't any ASPI driver installed. Get ASPI drivers here: http://download.com.com/3000-2098-10219041.html Let me know how it goes
