DivX and Media Encoder

    sounds like a lot of work to go through just to get a movie for somebody's pc.. but heck, like you said you have your reasons I guess. Try converting the movie to MPEG format using TMPGenc. You can find a guide on how to do this here:

    Still think it would be easier to just install the DivX codecs on this persons pc. oh well.. good luck anyhow.
