DIVX: .avi Only 15sec of 1hr 40min

    I have a .avi which is 1hr 40min but when i play it on Quick Time ( I own a Mac) it's only 15 seconds. also, when i burn it to a DVD it wont burn at all. please help.

    P.s .. dont want a fix that only works on my Mac

    You could try a program to convert from avi to dvd. If that doesnt work the file could be "corrupt".

    but when i play it on VLC it works perfectly

    also, when i play it in quick time ...... it says the file is only 1 MB and the same thing happens when I convert/play it in DIVX
