Every time I install and try to use the DivX codec in VirtualDub I get hung up. It never works and I've tried many times to uninstall and reinstall. I have a: AMD Athalon 3200 512 cache 1Gig DDR RAM Anybody help me with what I'm missing to get it to work for me?
Don't know exactly what you're trying to do, but I think what you're missing is a frame-server setup for encoding with DivX. The old-gen codec was basic but, ever since they introduced the [bold]nth pass [/bold]concept, previous setups don't always work.
