I am a newbie so this question might be a stupid one for most people here.... is it possible to convert DivX movies to AVI? because my dvd player doesnt support DivX movies. If so what software is there?
Here`s my problem.....most of my movies are DivX but my dvd player doesnt support DivX so i will need to convert it to a different kind of file so it can be read by my dvd player....is that possible???
if your player doesn't support divx then it won't support avi, unless it supports mpeg format or some other compression standard interleaved within an avi, which it probably doesn't. you will have to author your divx movies to the dvd standard (vob) or if it supports vcd to the vcd standard. there are plenty of guides on this site showing you how to do so. good luck.
