Hi, My attempts at encoding a DivX from a DVD have been tretcherous. I have followed the guide on this site very closely and initially had many problems that I read the forums to solve. However I am now having difficulties with the audio. It syncs up fine but when I play the encoded DivX there is no sound, unless I move the slider into the movie a bit and then back to the beginning. I have tried different versions of the DivX codec, different players, and different encoding methods. As far as the method I'm using to encode, I am following the Afterdawn dvd to DivX guide (MP3 audio, not AC3) nearly verbatim. I believe the problem lies within virtualdub. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.
