    Hello there everyone.

I got some DivX movies and i am encoding them to SVCD.Thing is,when they are ready I get pixels.
My question is:Which should be the best thing to do with them DivX before encoding with DVD2SVCD?I am thnking in using some virtual dub filter.
Anybody could suggest me some sharpening or denoising filter,or some filter to use that would give cleaner SVCDs ?With less pixels and noise ?

    Thanks a lot.

Pixelation is the downside of encoding to SVCD. The best way to make SVCD's look good is to increase the number of discs you're burning to. In other words, don't expect that you'll be able to take a DivX video (that will fit on one cd) and convert it to SVCD (that will fit on one cd) and have it look acceptable! It will be $h1t. Why not just burn the DivX to cd? If you want to watch it on your tv then just go down to your local electronics accessories store and pick up a length of RCA cable to connect your video card to your tv.

The bottom line is that it would be a shame to convert that nice DivX movie (that someone worked hard to make) into SVCD because it will look na$ty unless you use 3 cd's (and even then it probably won't look as nice as the original DivX).
