Hello... I've always used SVCD and Nero to backup my dvd's but now I want to try DivX. I have all the necessary software but the question I'm asking is....after obtaining my finished avi files....what method and progra is best used to burn them ? and what is the best program to run them from my PC ? many thanks in advance. I don't really know 'the best way' but I can tell you how I do it. I burn them with Nero (v5.5.9) just like I would burn any data on a CD. If the Avi exceeds 700 MB then I use Virtualdub to split the file into chunks of 700 MB so I can burn them. To run them I use The Player from DivX or simply Mediaplayer. If I encounter a problem with one player I simply use the other. Simple, but they work for me!
