I have a Philips Progressive Scan DVD Player w/ DivX Playback, DVP642, and i was trying to find out how to put divx backups on a single disc. I tryed burning an iso dvd-rom but that didnt work. If someone could please assist me in recommending a program for regular avi to divx conversion. It would be most apreciated.

Divx should come in one file, called video clip. Right click and look at the properties, the the summary tab, and at the video compression it should sav XVID. One file, for me at least, one movie, the size is alway 700mb, so it fits nicely on a cd-r.

Also the program i use is Auto GK. U can set the sile size to 2 700mb files, which is 2 cd-r's worth.

The burning process should be burn data.

I dont think people understand> I want to put avi files on a dvd disc but i also want to make them a compatible divx format for playback on my player. Nero is what I use and I dont think that there should be any problem unless I'm not Putting the avi files in the right format, and I dont mean vob. files.
