   i downloaded a movie with a DivX extention. It wont play; on my windows media player. Do i need a divx player. Is there any freeware of one? Thanks

   you'll need to install the divx codec for playback, ffdshow takes care of all the different versions of divx and xvid among others:. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/dawnload.cfm?mirror=0&software_id=446
