    Hi!
I divide a movie into 2 with virtualdub but when I try to play the movie the divx player shuts down giving the error: "Divx player 2 has caused an error in DIVX Player 2.0 Alpha.exe."
And when I try to play it in Windows media player it has no sound! The weirdest part is Part 1 plays just fine but part 2 shuts the player down!
    Please help...
    Thanks :)

Have you tried redoing just the second half? When you first loaded the movie in Vdub did it say anything about an invalid header in the audio?

    Hi,

Thanks for replying I was losing hope :)
Yes I have tried just doing the scond half, and it doesn't say anything or give any errors. It just crashes the divx player when I try to play it. And when I try it on media player it has no sound. Help! Please, my HD is full, I have to write these stuff on CD :-(

I seem to remember something about this occurring a lot with a copy of the two towers that was floating around the net awhile back. If that's what you are having problems with you might want to use the search function on this board and look for messages pertaining to two towers.
