I notice that many North American standalone dvd players can now handle divx files. Do these players care if the avi came from a PAL or NTSC part of the world? I'm thinking of DVD's with different fps and wondered if it carries over to these other files.
Players don't care. Never really did. It is TV's that are the problem since TV's in the US as a general rule are NTSC only rather than multi format. Most DivX players would be able to convert though and output NTSC from a PAL file. How well they do it is a different matter though.
