2 AVI? that is problame... but it can be done.

You need programs dvd2svcd and DVDLab.
Follow pictures - I`m not going to translate them...
    http://www.nefernetti.com/dvdlab.htm
    http://www.nefernetti.com/avi2svcd.htm
    here is somethin to english:
    http://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/111846.php

    dvd2svcd
First you have to convert AVI to MPEG (bouth) so u start dvd2svcd.
And do make mpeg. next ones are fast hint ->
    2200MB + 2200MB files
    Sound 48kHz
    No need for image

Then you have these files in your HD
    -Encoded_audio_1.mp2
    -Encoded_Video_TMPGEnc_NTSC.mpv

    So rename them like this:
    -Movie name.mp2
    -Movie name.mpv

    Start DVDLab.
Check that everything is right at Project -> project properties.
    and start work...

When it gets to video encoding it loads TMPGEnc and then it says read error (numbers) at module (numbers).

    what does that means?

Sorry, about my bad english, but do you mean AVI -> SVCD?
    if so:

    Lets start, chose MISC tab
    "input file type": AVI
    "output file type": svcd

    Conversion tab
    search AVI file

    Audio tab
Save in Folder ->is it ok
    Audio 1 Priority 1 = English
    Bitrate = 48kHz

    CD Image tab
    VCDXBuild

    Encoder tab
TMPGEnc (is the bath right? not installed? -> install it, if no help-> try older version)
    CQ

    Bitrate tab
    2200mb

Frameserver tab (can`t find? misc -> DVD2SVCD level: advanced)
    Change if necessary

    conversion (again)
    push GO (V mark)
    "start conversion.."
    OK

Now we go to make coffee... Did u du it like this?

Or did u mean SVCD -> DVD?

You have these files in your HD (bouth svcd)
    -Encoded_audio_1.mp2
    -Encoded_Video_TMPGEnc_NTSC.mpv

    like this:
    -Movie name.mp2
    -Movie name.mpv

    Open DVDLab

Project -> project properties (is all OK)

PAL/NTSC, Full D1, Automatic - player decide, 4:3 or 16:9 (make them right)

-I will continue when I have brake ( I`m school now)

    hello,

There are guides here but basically you need to join the avi files (virtualdub or virtualdubmod will do that for you and they are free). You can then use tmpgenc and do all the settings yourself (the basic guide is here

    http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/tmpgenc_basic_guide.cfm

or you can use a one click program such as winavi, divxtodvd (VSO program) or many others.

By the way, there is a guide here to join the avi files with virtualdub too. Here it is

    http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/virtualdub_join_avi.cfm
