hi all i have just burnt a dvd using roxio 8 divx to dvd application. summary of the movie is as follows movie - divx -dvd-rip (high resolution).avi image 720x272 audio duration 02.39.30 bit rate 96kbps audio format mpeg layer 3 video frame rate 29 frames/second data rate 72kbps video sample size 24 bit video compression divx codec during the film (on the dvd) when the camera shot changes i get a rainbow like flicker on the screen. can anyone tell me why this is happening please. this is about the 5th dvd ive tried to burn from divx using roxio 8 and so far ive had not one go right. the first 3 just stopped after a few minutes and the other one completed but the sound was out of sync. cheers steve
I don't use Roxio. However, you may try convert the divx to dvd compliant format with VSO DivxToDVD (free version), then burn with e.g. Nero: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm VSO is pretty fast and reliable. You can add multiple files at one time, just keep adding before hitting 'convert'. Good luck!
