is there a simple way of going from divx to dvd-r so i can play on my stand alon? DVD2SVCD is a superb program for svcd but is there a prog for dvd-r? ive tryed the doom9 tutorials only to keep going round and round. please help theres got to be a way of going from downloaded divx to dvd-r.
What I would do is encode the file for dvd and then use Ulead DVD workshop to burn it to the disk and it would do it excellently!
I have been playing on this divx to dvd-r for a few weeks. So far my best solution is to take the divx open it with Virtual Dub and extract the audio to PCM into a wav file. Then Open TMPGEnc, use wizard and convert 16x9 source (if it is 16x9) video and change the path of the audio to your newly created WAV file. Then change DC to 10 and create the m2v and wav files. After that take the files and create the dvd with a program such as Spruceup. It was a major pain to figure it out though. I am on my second dvd, so we'll see how well it works with other dvd's Good luck.
