    hi guys:
i'm having some trouble making a vcd from a divx movie (SouthPark, Bigger, Longer and Uncut)
I did all like the guide that uses subtitles, and I got a working 800mb movie in MPEG-1 format from TMPGEnc. Then I splitted it in 2 parts of 400mb each one and then tried to record the first cd with Nero 6.0.0.9 but, after all the reencoding process in Nero (that took like ... 40 minutes) and recorded the cd, i only hear the audio but get a black screen... what i did wrong ?
    Thanx

Well First off when you Load the mpeg File into Nero for burning it is NOT supposed to encode it, That is what Tmpgenc was supposed to do..Pluss you should ALLWAYS watch the File before you burn it so you know it is working Fine..The reason why Nero Re-encoded your File is because when you Cut it in Half with Tmpgenc"s "Merge & Cut" you did not choose the Correct setting from the Dropdown Menu..You can not choose "Mpeg1" when editing VCD and you can not use "Mpeg2" when editing SVCD you have to choose "Video-CD" or "Video-CD Non-Standard" or for SVCD choose "Super-VCD"....And if you do not see the Picture of your Movie in the Tmpgenc window while encodeing then there will not be a Picture in the Mpeg file so what usually fixes this is to go to "options" to "Enviromental Settings" to Vfapi Plugins" and Raise the "Direct show MultiMedia File Reader" to "2"....
