    Hi,
I did a search but could not find any references to what type of quality to expect from bittorrent downloaded avi's. most of them are about 6-800 mbs (which seems to be a standard average size for some reason?) When I play the movies before and even after I have converted them to DVD with Santa, I get an annoying digital blocking that is pretty pronounced in the movies(especially when it is at 55% quality or less)...Is this normal? and if so, why would someone go to all the trouble to compress a TV serious or even a movie that does not look normal? Why not compress it down to only 70% quality?

Is there a quality filter that I can use when converting to dvd that will simulate the missing frames and improve the pic quality to at least look as good as analog?

    thanks in advance
