    Hello guys,
Just got a DVD burner and having some problems burning some Divx/Xvid movies I have to dvd, I am using VSO ConvertXtoDVD to convert the files and burn them to a dvd. Dvd burner is a Pioneer 12-2D 16x Dual layer, dvd's are SONY Japan 12x DVD+R. The video's look awesome on my computer but when I burn them to a dvd they play zoomed in, the screen is cropped, and the quality is bad. I can zoom out on my dvd player but then it says "ZOOM 1/2" on the top of my tv and its really annoying and it dosent stretch to the edge of the screen, and no i cant clear it off the screen. Aspect ratio is set to auto in VSO. Here is the info on my Divx/Xvid file

    AUDiO......[ MP3 48000Hz 128 kb/s CBR (2 chnls)
    > LANGUAGE...[ English
    > ViDEO......[ 834 kbps XviD 23.976 FPS
    > Q. FRAME...[ 0.182 bits*pixel
    > RESOLUTiON.[ 676 x 282
    > DAR........[ 2.397 (12:5)
    > SUBS.......[ None
    > FiLES......[ 1
    > SiZE.......[ 701 MB
    > SOURCE.....[ NTSC DVD

Problem is very frustrating, I want to watch my dvd's without them looking horrible! Please help!

    Hi fz3r0
Try changing the aspect ratio to 4:3 or 16:9 instead of auto.

Set the TV format to NTSC also instead of auto.
See if they make a diff - ConvertX is usually good. Using the latest version 2.2.3.258?

    Hi,

Can you provide the full log of that conversion please ?

Also, make sure your DVD Player is set to 4:3 Letterbox, and not Pan&Scan, which will make some movie zoomed in like your seing.

I use "Automatic" all the time and have not had any issues yet.

Is it will all files or just that specific file ?

The ratio is: 2.3971 : 1 which is real small
    Looks like 16:6 something :D

    16:9 ratio = 1.7777777 : 1

    Am I doing this right ? :) :) :)
