    please someone help me to comvert 10 dvd's
    i like into divx its really important for me
    because they'r home dvd videos from a cristmas
    family reunion thanx

    I would recommend using virtualdub. You must have the divx codec installed though.

    You can do this with very good quality using Gordian Knot, but the tricky part might be technical: whether your home videos are interlaced or not. A professional DVD can actually be easier to backup to DivX! Home video DVDs are more like a learning-experience. Go for it; if you can convert those you will be an expert, you'll be able to convert anything.
