    Hi all
When converting a Pal avi to DVD with divxtodvd which setting would be best for the conversion priority? default is set to normal. but if you want better quality which would be best?

Priority settings are for allocating computer resources. Since VSO would be using a great amount of computer resources during encoding (as most converters do), it's best not to do multi-task while encoding. In that sense, 'normal' would be fine.

The sync. problem is really a complicated one. You may try encode with another program (e.g. Winavi, DVDSanta) to see if you have better luck.

    Hi there,

VSO are currently re-writting the conversion engine.
A new build should come out in the near future, that should fix all the out of sync problems (With DivxToDVD).

I had files that gave me problems with several applications, so I know the problem was with the way THOSE file were encoded.

As for priority, here's an article from Lapinou (Official VSO Person):

Hmm, a new version of VSO able to solve the sync. problem? Can't wait to see that.

Presently, I sometimes need to change the codec of the videos to solve the problem.
