DM500C turns itself off and will not receive channels.....any ideas???

Hi

I have a dm500c that keep on turning itself off.

When it does this it reloads on the digital kaos image with evocamd 2.12 setting up.....then it registers there are no channels available and turns itself off after a few seconds and repeats this process until i tear the plug out the wall!!!

It has worked again once or twice for about 10 mins tops giving me all the channels that i used to have, then it will cut out again.

any help would be appreciated

sounds like it could be a cooling problem. Make sure the cooling Vents are clear of dust. And don't have DVDs lying on top of it when you're using it.

box is well vented at all times, however its still switching off?

 

Reflash it with the image.
