hi can i send the picture from my dm500s box to more than one tv, i have tried a cable from the ant out connection to a second tv but the tv keeps telling me there's no signal or service found.i realise that if it can be done i'd have to watch the same programs on both tv sets just wondered if i was doing something wrong or if it cant send to more than one tv set.any help most welcome. thank you.

If you are using an RF out to a tv you need to tune it in on your TV. The other option would be to use the SCART or 3 phono output on the back of the dreambox, and going direct to your second TV.

How is your first TV connected to the box ?

the antenna out connection on the dm500s will only work if you have a second dm500s (as the signal coming from this connection is the raw satellite signal),you need to run a cable from antenna out on box 1 to what ever room you intend watching channels and connect it to a second dm500s antenna in connection .when watching in the second room you need to put box 1 in standby mode unless your viewing channels on the same transponder. however its not ideal i would suggest changing your dishes lnb to a dual output lnb ,and then you can feed two boxes at the same time and they are independant of each other.

You could still use the 3 phono output from the Dreambox, if you can run a cable to the second TV. Another option would be an RF modulator which would let you take the output from the scart or 3 phono and convert it to an RF signal, but again you would have to watch the same channel on both TVs and for a few bob extra you could buy a second dreambox and do as Piopat suggested.

Ah right, I know the things you mean, never heard them called Digital Eyes before, thought it was something like the 'magic eye'.

no the dreambox is magic, the eye is a total pain, someone walks within the path and you get reception interrupted. i would rather spend twice as much on an extra dm500s rather than a magic/digital eye. all you get is pain with such a solution
