why no hdmi port thinking of getting one of these but not sure about the quality of the picture how do you get hd with no hdmi port, if any1 has 1 of these boxes whats the quality of the dvi port?
if it doesnt have a hdmi connection dont worry it will have a dvi connection the dvi connection is the square white connection . you use a dvi to hdmi cable ,the dvi end connects to the box and the hdmi end connects to the tv ,i believe newer clones such as the dm800 pro have the hdmi connection but i stand to be corrected on that .this is the cable that is required as far as im aware the cable comes with the box as standard but again i stand to be corrected on that .if your buying a dm800 its probably wiser to buy the dm800 hd pro as it has the latest tuner in it .
Believe you are correct about new clone DM800HD. Reports from SG-region cable users who are big users of DM800HD boxes say latest model has HDMI-port. HD quality with DVI-HDMI cable is fairly good
Anyone order these clone dreambox before? Just found a site selling dreambox at a cheap price on this site, obviously it is made in China. 800HD for $119.99, 500S for $68.99 What's your opinion ?
dan the epg will depend on the image you use on the box ,but i have to recommend that if your self and gbx_lee are buying a dm800 to pay a little extra and buy the dm800hd pro as iit has the latest rev m tuner .
