When I got my new laptop recently (Dell, 1.7ghz dual, 2gb ram, 256 ati1400x, xp home sp2), i transferred my windows media playlists to it as well. Well now when I open windows media player 10, when I choose a playlist, there is always this DMX_templist and it always comes back even when I delete. I have tried deleting it both directly in \my documents\my music\my playlists\dmx_templist.wpl and in wmp under libraries->playlists->delete from computer and library. I also regularly do registery cleanups, spyware cleans, antivirus cleans etc. Okay, so how do I get rid of this thing (and make it not come back)? Should I rebuild my playlists instead of using the ones on my old computer (which had media player 9 i think), or something else? Im not moving to winamp or another player though.
On WMA, its a real pain. I have several playlists, and they have like 100s of songs...so yeah awhile but Ive done it several times before...just dont want to do it again. Sorry it took so long for me to reply...I though I would get emailed when there was reply like in the past.
