I just got a Pioneer DVR105 and I have tryed everything I know how to, but as soon as nero or other try to write to a dvd, it gives me an error and aborts, I have the latest nero, aspi, firmware, and I'm using windows 2000, I can watch DVD'd, Burn CD's but if I try to read a DVD-r it tells me to insert a disk in the drive. I would appreciate any help

    dvd-r = no, you cant.
dvd-rw = sure, if you want to make it blank again. They come formated.
