Do I need to use MYDVD to make copies of DVDs?

    I recently purchased DVD X Copy, as well as a new DVD buner (DRU 510UL External), and I was wondering is it necessary to use the DVD burning software that comes with my new burner, or do I even need to use it at all? Don't all I need is the DVD X COPY? The instructions that came with my copy of the DVD x- copy was nonexistent, and that's why I'm forced into coming here.

    Depends on what kinda software you got with it, i think u got a sony drive, i think sony usually includes roxio. Roxio is not bad but i am sure the roxio you got is a bogged down version other members hate it tho. Nero is better incombination w/ dvd shrink (free) or dvd2one (notfree)

    I would just use shrink w/ nero but ya all you need is dvd x copy__X_X_X_X_X_[small]Win xp sp1
