Do you need a computer with a dvd recordable drive for any dvd blank disks to work?

I don't have a dvd recrodable drive, but I want to burn a dvd rom game. I have everything but the dvd recordable drive. Are there any disks I can buy to burn a dvd rom game without having a dvd recordable drive?

No..Of cource Not, You can not Record on to DVD with a CD-RW Drive no matter what type of Disks you use, But you can get DVD Burners for Increadably cheap these days, you can even get a Tripple Format 4X DVD Burner for about $125 US.....

You can of course burn a CD ROM on your CD burner providing the files are less than 700mb.

Yeah, PS2 games are sometimes on CD, but mostly DVD> Sometimes a lot of it is movie clips within the game. If you know how to edit these out you may be able to save enoughspace to burn to CD. Why not buy a DVD Writer at £100
