    Hi all
For about a year now ive been recording tv programs on my sony dvd rec. with -rw and then copying them on to my hard drive using ulead movie factory 2 then i can take different episodes from different discs and put them on to one disc, but i have just bought another recorder that only uses +r so when i use the edit disc function on ulead m.f.2 it renumerates them and there is nothing copied to the hard drive.
most of the threads ive read on this subject say the +r editing is better though i cant see how,it seems i must have missed somthing,as some threads say you can do things like edit out adverts and the like
hope someone can put me right as its driving me mental.
    thank you in anticipation

    Hi.

If you copy the recorded files to your hard drive to edit. It would not matter if the DVD was - or +.

You are writting them back to a DVD with your computer ?

RW DVD's are the best to edit with. (using the DVD recorder.) But editing with your computer using movie factory everything would be on your hard drive.

Maybe I do not understand the question.
