Does anyone know a good Compression Program?

    I am not talking about winrar or winzip. I know they can compress but I am not sure how good they can compress it(have not had time to try to compress with best compression setting.) cuz I got something what is 1.6gigs big and I want it to be know more then 700mb big to fit on 1 cd.(hope that is possible).If you know if winrar can do it or if you know a program what can do it plz post it up here.

    I don't think this is a good place for this question, as you don't seem to be talking about DVD files.
    If you have a large DivX or XviD (AVI) file you can reencode it to a lower bitrate using Virtualdub, or split it over several disks.
    Head over to the DivX/XviD forum if you don't know how to do this.
