    a got this cable yesterday that pluges into my mixer u no tha\t a use with with dj turntables and then i plug it into the pc to record me on my turntables but a have to plug it into a thing on ma pc or somethin called the jack can anyone tell me where abouts the jack thing is on my pc plz reply.

    You'll have to be a little more specific. Are we dealing with USB, Firewire or what? What is the name of the cable exactly?

    the man says it goes into ma input thing on my soundcard where abouts on my pc is my soundcard

    At the back of your pc you should have 3 (or more) colour coded 3.5 mm holes. One of them uses your speaker out put, look for the one that is line in ( or something like that) then you will be abla to hear your mixing through your pc, assuming you have software that lets you do that.
