I'm recording some songs from youtube. There are some songs that the very same song, by different uploaders, has different kbps. Is there a way for audacity to tell what the kbps is while I'm recording? as so far, I have to copy that song to a USB stick, and play the file on my Blu-ray player for the display to show what the kbps is
You can set the bitrate prior to recording. If you want to check after then right click on the recorded file, choose properties, then details from the menu and your bit rate will be displayed
