does every xbox have a different eeprom?

    hi i was wundering if every xbox has a different eeprom? because i have 1 xbox that is softmoded 1 that is chiped and one that need a new hd. and i made a boot disk with the softmoded xboxs eeprom and i was wundering if i could make a new hdd for it even tho its not the right eeprom would it work in the xbox?
