is there anyway to tell if my xp disc has SP2 Before installing it? do you need SP2 to upgrade to vista?
on your install disk it should say. on mine it is a purple color and says windows xp home service pack 2. just look at the disc. and you dont need sp2 to upgrade but i recomend installing vista from scratch instead of upgrading because it will invalidate your xp and you wont be able to use it.
it dont relly matter if it dose not have sp2 on it as windows update(i think) will upgrade it with windows up date ofr u can just download from here SP2 webpage
