It's a long shot, but does anyone know if you can still get free top level domain names? IE- thisname.org NOT- thisname.fr33space.com
Domain names are registered and there is a Fee for that ! You can get it done for FREE -- IF you buy web hosting for a year ! The web host will pay the fee for you (of course it will be buried in your web hosting fee) once you have initialized his DNS and it has been propagated to the Search Engines. Registering a name can cost anywhere from 7$ (US) a year for a minimum of 3 years --- or more, if you dont shop for the right registrar. Then you have to find a webhost to accept taking your domain on his server .
