hi there. have you started burns and they've failed ?, if so we got a head start....

....let's have LAST section of your Nero log which lives in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar. You can differentiate sections via this section divider "====== *** Nero-Burning Rom, History File *** ======"

    hiya..

    - you've provided the entire log, usually the LAST section is sufficient, the sections are divided by this line -
    "====== *** NeroAPI, History File *** ======".
subsequent burns are appended to this logfile, hence why there's more than one log entry. No biggie, it's just that your serial number is dotted throughout the post(s).

    - EDIT OUT any reference to your serial numbers via the pencil icon at top right of the posts.

    - not too bad, the latest 6.x version is 6.6.0.16

    - newer version of your firmware (B101) is here. but i can see that the firmware is currently recognising the rewritable disc you're using - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2030

    - We could worry about that later...

    - your free memory is too low, you need to make sure to close down more progras prior to all dvd work/burning..

    - i suspect the data you're trying to write to the disc is too large for the disc

    - this says to me that the data you're trying to write to the disc is too large for the disc

    - your ATAPI drivers aren't listed in this paragraph, fix via this - http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/FAQ.htm

    @ Nicolea21: hi.

I'll let creaky sort your nero problems but i would like to know what format the files you downloaded are in? and to what format did you convert them to ? or did you get nero to do the conversion automatically for you before you attempted to burn them to disc?

Do you have any of these programs?

    Vso divx to dvd
    avicodec
    dvd identifier

I have been trying to burn cam and avi files to supervideo cds and the dont work and also I have tryed to burn actual DVDs to DVD and SuperVideo Cds and nothing works. The Cam and avi files burn half way through and just stop and the DVD movie dycrypts, copys and then says to insert the right disk and that message just keeps popping up (wven though I do put a DVD-RW 4.7gb in. I did have DivX but had no clue how to use it so i just deleted it.

you do realise that you need to convert the avi files to mpeg2 before you burn them to disc.If you dont convert them to mpeg2 then they wont burn properly and you probably will end up with straight data files only.

    How big are these files.?

Hers a suggestion: if you are trying to burn vcds when it asks for the right cd it is asking for a cd not a dvdr

Download the program from the link. This is the most basic version of vso divx to dvd.load one file into it and convert it to mpeg2.Then try and burn the converted file to dvd disc.If we can get you past the point of no return and successfully get you to burn one file then we wont have a prob getting the others done.

Any probs creaky and I are here witing to help you.

you can indeed - just use Nero Burning Rom for this as it sounds like the files are in DVD format already. pick 'dvd video' compilation in Burning Rom, drag files to left of screen if you're using 6.6.0.14 or newer -
. If your Burning Rom is older than that you have to select the VIDEO_TS folder on left of screen PRIOR to dragging files over to the left of screen (ie into the VIDEO_TS folder)

ok heres a description of why you need slysofts anydvd.

AnyDVD is a tool that removes automatically the CSS copy protection and RPC region codes from your DVDs in the moment you insert the disc in.

So, with AnyDVD you can use all the DVD backup tools, such as CloneDVD without having to rip the DVD to your HDD first.

Software also overrides your DVD-ROM drive's region code mechanism, so even if you have RPC-2 locked DVD-ROM drive, you can still watch DVDs from any country in the world with your PC.

heres the link to a trial version:

While your downloading that you might want to download the free version of shrink as well.
