Hi there, What version of DivxToDVD did you use ? The free preview version v0.5.2b or the new Pre-Release v1.99.xx ?? There has been lots of work done in v1.99.xx since the preview version v0.5.2b Maybe you have one of those exception (File) that is wrongly encoded, and/or something that v1.99.xx has fixed since ! Can you provide us a logfile ! Thanks...
i used divxtodvd 0.5.2 first and after 0.5.2 changed the mpeg2 file to dvd, i found out it was 2 hours 44 minutes, so downloaded the 1.99 version and sometimes when i put the file into 1.99.14 it shows the information as 2 hours 44 minutes , so i have to x out of the divxtodvd program and start over and i only got it to read the info once in the trial version of 1.99.14 to read the correct playing time. im afraid to encode or render the mpeg2 file again with the trial version , it will only waste my time cuz i wont be able to burn it to dvd, i think it has a watermark or something... so why did it render it to dvd as twice the time or almost a complete repeat of the movie? and how do i get the free version to work? what log file do you need from where? thanks
Hi there, This might be a problem with THIS specific file. I'm one of the ßeta testers for DivxToDVD and when I had issues, most of the problems were fixed, but these days it's only with very specific file. Load the file in DivxToDVD, and tell us what comes up in the Info Window. Curious to see what type of video and audio stream are in it !
showed it again as twice as long number of video segments 1 audio(1 stream) en-mp2, 48000 Hz stereo 384kb/s source details input file mpeg duration 2.26.58.409 aspect ratio 1,5000 (3:2) AUTOMATIC SIZE FULL size 4:3 stream count 2 video: mpeg2video 720x480 29.97 fps 8000kbs audio mp2 48000 hz stereo 384 kb/s if ya need any more info as a beta tester just post
Hi there, If you do decide to re-encode it using v1.99.xx please keep me the LOG file so I can send it directly to VSO, and try to see if it's a problem with THIS file only, or a problem that can occur on other files too ! Thanks... I have already sent your "File Info" to VSO, see if they had someone else with a problem like this !
