hi, i need help to "downgrade" my windows xp home edition back to 2000, i have already tried shutting down my comp, then trying to use my 2000 bootdisk to boot from cd, but it will not give me a boot from cd option, any help is greatly appreciated ty.
Use your W2K Ghost backup disc. Oh you don't have one? Shame on you. You're going to put yourself through a lot of work without partition backups. Run out and buy Ghost or a similar program. Ebay, Circuit City, Best Buy [yulk], etc. And backup regularly. This is advice from someone who taught themself how to start and wreck computers. Its been a costly and frustrating expererience. Be smart. Why do you think corporations backup?
