nother one. Now when I try to download any file not from a disk, I get the following: The Signature of setup(download file).exe is corrupt or in valid. I had this once before and th fix was to go to Internet Options, Advanced and scroll to "Allow invalid files", did not work. Need help again.BTW I am running Win 8.1, Dell XPS 8700 .i7, 1T HDD, 16 Ram T.I.A.
1. Try a different internet browser like firefox 2. Look for spyware and malware on your computer From what I make of it, it looks like your system is hosed if it is Internet Explorer.
Which web browser you use? Just two more questions: 1) Are you using Internet Explorer to download programs? 2) Do you remember making any changes prior to this iisue? I would suggest you to follow the methods given below and check if the issue persists. Method 1: Disable software with invalid signature to run in Internet Explorer a) Open Internet Explorer browser from Desktop. b) From the menu bar select Tools Select Internet Options. c) In the Internet Options window, select Advanced tab. d) Scroll down and un-check the Allow software to run or install even if the signature is invalid e) Click OK to save the settings. Then close the Internet Options window. If the issue persists, try resetting the Internet Explorer and check if the issue persists.
LMAO Come on ddp "Hosed" is a term used by newbies that want to post but don't know how to fix the problem... The 2nd newbie gave a fix that the poster said he had already tried and it didn't work... go figure
@durkinjt, have you ran any anti malware ppgs? I have asked you to run Frst.exe and Zoek.exe before, do you still have them on your computer?
