downloaded movies couldn't play.

    hi forum.
    does anyone know why i couldn't play or preview the movies that i have downloaded from ares or warez p2p programe? most of the movies i can play with no problem. but some i can't play or preview at all.
    is that mean the movie is fake or not working?
    it's really gets my nervs when i coulndt play after i have spent so much time to downloaded it.
    ur suggestion would be very much appreciated....

    Get Gspot.
    Open the movie.
    Find out what codec(s) it uses.
    Download and install that codec.

    make sure the movie file isnt something like


    starwars_3.avi.exe

    or something like that. Otherwise you have just succesfully given yourself a virus of some sort.
