is there any one program that can decode etc all files or can u suggest one good one that can do most currently using winavi video have nero 7reloaded are new to this appreciate help
I've been using the Kazza Lite codec pack for over 3 years and never yet found a file that wouldn't open. You can get it here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_klite_codec_pack/changelog/ If you use it, I would download v 2.79 just because I don't download any new versions of anything and 2.80 has only been out 2 days. Also, during the install, you will be able to choose which programs to install like players, etc. And, if you have any other codecs installed, I would uninstall them first as they can conflict.
Most downloaded movies are in AVI or MPEG format, heres a basic guide how I burn mine using NeroVision http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/356114/2104525 No need for conversion, just let Nero do the lot. You can find an excellent guide, by alkohol, in my sig.
