i have downloaded a ds rom to my pc.it went to winrar.when i put the rom onto my r4 card it will not let me even see the game.can someone please tell me what to do.any help much appreciated
Whaen unzipped did it end up with an .nds file (anything else will not be seen) - some files are double zipped and some extract into a folder (just put the .nds file on the card not the folder or anything else)
C:\Users\Karen\3699_Rhythm_Paradise_EUR_MULTi3_NDS-EXiMiUS this is whats on the file.have i downloaded the wrong thing
This when unzipped should have .nds at the end (this does not appear to be there) The zipped file needed un zipping, what program did you use to unzip it. I use winzip as many files are .rar files and this program will extract .zip and .rar as well as others
sorry i havnt got back.been busy in work.when it downloads, it goes to winrar.when i open then i cant copy and paste then.probably somthing stupid. if so i do appolagise.
what cartridge you using? did you get the drivers from the official website? did you install them corectly, if all above is one properly then like the other's said right click on the winrar file choose extract here you should have a game file ie gamename.nds this is the game file you will not need any other files drag and drop to micro sd card, i usually make a file called games and put all the .nds files in there and your done.
I have downloaded some roms and unzipped the .nds files and copied them to DS Xtreme cartridge. Some games play just fine and the rest of the games show a blank white screen that says, "Save data cannot be accessed." I found out that they may need to be patched but I tried using a program called dsBuff with no success. Can anyone help me with patching or getting these games to work?...Thanks
rename the file with .nds google a file called dslazy that will patch the file and take out the arm 7 and replace with arm 7 new 1.) Create a folder called 'dslazy' extract the files from dslazy.zip to 'dslazy' folder. 2.) Open dslazy.exe and click on ... navigate to your yourgame.nds. 3.) Click the nds unpack button, this will create a folder called NDS_UNPACK. 4.) extract arm7.zip then drag and drop arm7.bin into your NDS_UNPACK folder and click overwrite. 5.) now click on the NDS packer on dslazy, add the filename and click save. 6.) Now your done, copy the .nds to your r4 try it out.
in ds lazy you get the nds unpacker and arm7.bin thats all you need follow the instuctions i give you slowly it takes a bit off time to learn and only a few games need it .
