WHEN I DOWNLOAD MUSIC TO MY IPOD FROM COMPUTER A, THEN GO TO ANOTHER COMPUTER ( WE'LL CALL THIS COMPUTER B ) TO DOWNLOAD MORE MUSIC, I LOSE THE SONGS THAT WERE ON THERE FROM PAST DOWNLOADS ON COMPUTER A . SO, MY QUESTION IS, HOW DO I DOWNLOAD MUSIC ON MY IPOD FROM COMPUTER A AND THEN ADD MORE MUSIC FROM COMPUTER B, WITHOUT LOSEING THE SONGS THAT I HAD ON MY IPOD FROM COMPUTER A. I KNOW THERE IS A METHOD, I JUST DON'T KNOW IT. I LOOKED IN PAST FORUMS FOR THIS ISSUE BEFORE I WENT TO THIS FORUM FOR HELP. ANY ELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
(for the newest version of itunes) What you want to do is open your iTunes on computer B and plug your iPod in... Than, once the screen shows up that shows you the stats of your iPod, the data and memory usage etc. go down to the bottem where it says "manualy manage musi and videos" and check that box. Now, you can click and drag the music that you want onto your iPod, without it updating automatically and without deleting your music. ( a quick hint us to click at the first song in your playlist, hold shift hey and click in the last song, and that will select all the songs in your library or playlist or whatever, and then just drag them into the floder of your iPod.
