i'm a huge newb to the dvd-to-avi ripping scene and i have failed a few times using the guides posted on this site, but this program worked like a charm on the first try...compressed the video to only 350mb too, half of what I wanted (not sure if that's a bug or not, but the quality is good and everything seems to work fine).
