Hi I am new to satellite receivers, I had the starview before but it stopped working. In my apartment I have a satellite connection but no receiver. My friend just paid someone to install a DreamMultimedia 500s and they get all the channels without subscription. Do these boxes have to be programmed or will they unscramble the premium channels straight out of the box?
Nothing works for nothing, your friend paid for this box with a Cline on it, meaning a share, this will run out and your friend will have to pay again.
Is this sharing a real subscription over the internet or how does it work? There is no other connection in the house and there is no card in the box, but it is connected to the internet If this is the case then could I extract the details from his box to connect to a cline? Is there subscription clines?
