Dreambox 500c

    Can anyone give me any pointers on finding a UK image for a dreambox?

    If you can help me with any links can you send them on for the Dreambox 500C thanks. Is it ok flashing the images with an ethernet cable I don't have that null modem cable?

    yes, just ftp to the dm500c and dump the image file to /var/tmp and rename it to root.cramfs

    then just do a manual update.

    This way it only takes 2min rather than 15min+ using dreamup and null modem cable.

    Hi.I'm in Dublin, getting a 500c tomorrow inc null modem cable and am trying to find the guide plus evocmd 2.14 image file. I'm on N+L and ive seen this image working here.
    Can anyone point me to both the guide and image please plus do I have to get services and bouquets files separately on top of the image and copy them over after flashing the box?
    Hope you can steer me in the right direction.
