Dreambox 600 PVR - flashing - Dublin

Firstly - apologies - total noob here
I have flashed a few images onto my PVR but none seem to work - read up and subscribed to DM1.6.5 but it comes up as an .img file and when i attempt to flash this via dreammedia it only gives me the choice of .nfi files to flash.
Do i have to convert the .img to .nfi and, if so, how do i do this?

that image is for a dreambox 500c and not a 600c which you have. google pli iolite and you will see link for pli images for the 600 which are .nfi images

the images for the 600 that i can download are pli, mr dude & cli - are there any others? the only one that works for me is cli

 

How are you flashing the 600? I've tried everything execpt for dry riding it and getting nowhere. Trying null modem with DreamUP and DreamupLAN with no luck.

Please explain.
